History
2006
- The company continues in succesfull development a sale of AiP Safe 3 system. New modules such as incoming mail registration, meeting agenda and many others which can be installed right away and help to effectively manage corporate content.
- AiP Safe 3 system has been succesfully implemented in wide range of state institutions and private companies.
2005
- The AIP SAFE III System as a first phase of the third generation is completed. The new version is independent on operating system used. The Sun Microsystems Java platform is utilized. Administrators and user access thy system entirely through web interface (Internet browser).
- The distribution of the third generation begins and there are tenths successful implementations of the third generation.
2003-2004
- The AIP SAFE Ltd. becomes a member of the CPE GROUP with other IT companies, such as CPE Ltd., CPE Consulting, People, Education Ltd., ASEPO SW, Ltd., Vera Ltd. and VUMS software, Inc. The AIP SAFE Ltd. team grows up to 40 employees.
- The third generation of the AIP SAFE System continues. Using of the modern web technologies is stressed.
- Further attests and certification proceedings regarding quality of the system itself as well as of the AIP SAFE company processes are taking place.
2002
- The AIP SAFE version 2.5 is completed where the Workflow module is a significant enlargemen of system functionalities.
- The AIP SAFE System version III development is started. Successful implementations in commercial as well as in academic area continue. The decision doing business through business partners proves to be a good one. During the system implementation, above all the system optimization is stressed.
- The AIP SAFE System quality is certified according to Ministry of Informatics requirements (ISVS certificate). The ISVS certificate opens a door for implementations in public and state administration area.
2001
- In connection with successful implementations of the AIP SAFE System in commercial organizations (banks, insurance companies), the AIP SAFE Ltd. grows significantly.
- Selling of the AIP SAFE in cooperation with business partners starts, as well as selling the AIP SAFE System abroad. The AIP SAFE version 2.0 is completed that supports fully the XML format for data exchange.
2000
- First implementations of the SAFE System also in commercial area (in financial institutions, for example).
1999
- The UNESCO organization accepts the DOBM (Digitized Old Books and Manuscripts) format that uses the SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language) language structure within the frame of the HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) language.
- The AiP Safe version 1.0 designed above all for library archives (including valuable manuscripts) is completed.
- The AiP Safe Ltd. as a subsidiary company is established. The AiP Safe Ltd. takes over all activities related to development and selling of the AIP SAFE System.
1993-1997
- The UNESCO organization addressed National Library of the Czech republic in order to propose of format for archiving of digital documents that would be independent on used technological means (hardware, software).
- In the AiP Company, the development of the AiP Safe system for archiving and digitalization of documents started.
